Luke Pfeifle and Alan DiSotto are proud to be the founders of My Good Dog, LLC in May of 2005, a company that for the first time brings innovative footwear and apparel technology to the pet accessory arena. They were soon joined by Kevin Donahue of the Quabaug Corporation, which manufactures Vibram soles and other high-quality rubber products. But these products aren’t just high-tech. Pfeifle’s, DiSotto’s and Donahue's 40+ year history in shoe development has led them to design products that advance the “art” of each category, aesthetically pleasing to dog and human alike.
 
• Beds – My Good Dog has the exclusive use of Dryz Intellitemp® technology for the pet industry. This unique material commonly used in footwear to regulate temperature, control odor, and manage moisture allows for a line of “winter” beds and a line of “summer” beds. The “winter” beds are combined with the world-famous Polartec® Thermal Pro® fleece to make a bed that will absorb and retain a dog’s body heat. Conversely, the “summer” beds combine the Dryz Intellitemp® with Sheehan’s Etcetera, a fabric commonly used in athletic footwear, to make a bed that will help dissipate the dog’s body heat. As an added benefit for dog owners, the material contains anti-microbial agents that help fight bacteria that cause odors.

• Outerwear – The My Good Dog team has developed three garments designed for cold, wind, and rain, respectively, using Polartec® fleeces that are designed specifically for the intended use.

• Toys – Playing on the fact that all dogs love an old sneaker to chew on, My Good Dog has designed a line of fun, colorful squeaker toys that incorporate two extremely durable fabrics: Starensier's Cosmo Cool Spacer and Diesel, that are commonly used in top flight athletic shoes, and also, a great line of safe, Vibram rubber pet performance products (some people call them toys) which are made right here in the USA at Quabaug's plant.

• Leashes and Collars – My Good Dog becomes the first to use Majilite’s Novasuede, a simulated leather, superfine nylon that can fool the most seasoned leather buyer on looks, but has superior strength qualities, and is free of the chemicals often tanned into leather. When combined with Dryz®, My Good Dog has produced a collar that dries more quickly then other leather or similar collars.
